What the forest taught me about stillness
I sat beneath an oak for an hour and did nothing. Nothing, except notice everything — the way light moves, the way breath slows, the way the world doesn't need me to be busy.
A diary in progress
Through nature, art, and the quiet courage of knowing yourself — this is a space to unfold.
From the diary
I sat beneath an oak for an hour and did nothing. Nothing, except notice everything — the way light moves, the way breath slows, the way the world doesn't need me to be busy.
I mixed colours I'd never tried together. The result was imperfect and completely mine — a small act of creative trust.
She said something so simple it stopped me mid-sentence. I realised I'd been performing a version of myself I'd long outgrown.
The three threads
Reconnecting with the natural world as a way of coming home to yourself. Walks, seasons, plants, rituals, and the slow wisdom of paying attention outdoors.
Creativity as a way of understanding who you are. Making things, exploring artists, visiting galleries — the creative act as a path inward.
Identity, emotions, relationships, confidence, and becoming who you actually are. Honest reflection on the inner life — with curiosity, not judgment.
And beneath all three — Connection. To others, to the world, to the parts of yourself you're still discovering.
"The most radical thing you can do is pay attention — to the world, to yourself, to the space between."
